These terms apply when you buy from tonalitah.com. Please read them before you order. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

The store is operated by Center for Anthroposophical Endeavors, dba Tonalitá (“Tonalitá,” “we,” “us”), the North American distributor of Lautsänger. Lautsänger headphones are modified by hand at the Lautsänger manufactory in Hirschhorn am Neckar, Germany.

Where we ship

We sell to customers in the United States and ship only to addresses in the United States.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown and charged in US dollars.
• Your card is charged in full when you place your order. The total shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
• If sales tax applies to an order and we are required to collect it, it will be shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Orders and cancellation

• Every Lautsänger is made to order. Plan on about two weeks from order to delivery. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed date; if your order will be noticeably later, we will let you know.
• We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price on the site was clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund the full amount you paid.
• You can cancel your order before it ships by emailing us. We will refund the full amount. Once it has shipped, the 30-day listening trial applies.

Shipping and delivery

• Shipping is free and insured.
• Ownership and responsibility for the order pass to you when it is delivered.
• If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, email us as soon as you notice and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund.

30-day listening trial and returns

Every Lautsänger ships with a 30-day listening trial that starts the day it is delivered. How to return a product, and how refunds and exchanges work, is set out in our Refund and Exchanges policy.

Warranty

Once Lautsänger has completed the modification, it stands behind the finished headphone or headset as a whole, electronics and Lautsänger Components included, with a one-year warranty. Each one is professionally opened, modified, tested, and resealed at the Lautsänger manufactory.

As long as that seal remains intact, you have one point of contact: if something isn’t right, email Tonalitá and we coordinate the warranty service with Lautsänger. The warranty becomes void if the product is opened, altered, or repaired by the customer or by an unauthorized third party.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

• Listening experiences differ from person to person. Descriptions on this site, including listener accounts and research summaries, are not a promise of any particular result. That is what the 30-day trial is for.
• Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a purchase or from use of our products, and our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Tonalitá is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away protections the consumer laws of your own state give you. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order applies to that order. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
